Plans for the fifth annual What's Cooking? Kitchen and Tasting Tour are under way. The fundraiser, sponsored by the Women's Guild of St. Mary Church, is slated for Nov. 7 from noon to 4 p.m. in six homes in the Village, Firelands and Canterbury neighborhoods.

What's Cooking? will showcase chefs from Bistro on Main in Kent, Moe's in Cuyahoga Falls and Downtown 140, Leo's Reserve Inn, North End Market and Rosewood Grill from Hudson. Shawn Cline of Rosewood Grill and Don Triskett of Downtown 140, chefs new to the Hudson area, will participate in this community-wide event for the first time. Patrons will tour the first floor of each home at their leisure and sample offerings from the chefs stationed in the well-appointed kitchens during the event.

The ticket price of $45 admits patrons to all six venues and will be available at Acme Fresh Market and The Learned Owl. Tickets sales will be limited to 400 for this advance-ticket only event, and directions to each home will be provided on the tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door. Patrons may view the homes in any order, and water will be available at each site.

Proceeds benefit local, national and international charities, many focusing on women and children in need.
