The Aug. 16 Hudson Job Search meeting will focus on "Behavioral Interviewing: How to Effectively Tell Your Story to a Prospective Employer." Sign-in starts at 7:15 p.m. at Christ Church Episcopal, 21 Aurora St.

Roger Steel, manager of recruiting for JoAnn's, will discuss behavioral interviewing, which allows the interviewer to understand what the job seeker has accomplished in the past and through practice with mock interviews. Attendees will find out how best to present that information back during an interview.

"Behavioral interviewing is perhaps the best way to predict a candidate's success in a new role," Steel said.
Steel is a long-time Hudson resident and a product of the Hudson Schools.

He has been the recruiting manager at JoAnn's since 2006.

Hudson Job Search meets the first and third Monday evenings of each month at Christ Church Episcopal.
The meetings are free and open to the public and offer an opportunity for networking. For more information, visit www.hudsonjs.org or call 330-653-5322.
