RAYMOND L. KLEINHENZ JR. Grandfather of 13

Raymond L. Kleinhenz Jr., 79, formerly of St. Marys, died Aug. 3, 2010, at Akron General Medical Center.

He was born on Feb. 1, 1931, in St. Marys to Raymond and Mabel (Klosterman) Kleinhenz; both preceded him in death.

Mr. Kleinhenz graduated from Memorial High School 1949. He worked for Goodyear Tire & Rubber, managed Miller Trucking and was a national sales manager for Duff Truck Line. He was a member of the Cleveland Traffic Club. He was also recruited by Woody Hayes to play football at Miami University.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Jean Bernhold of Hudson; sons, John (Deborah) Kleinhenz of Hudson, Steve (Heather) Kleinhenz of Dayton, Matthew (Joy) Kleinhenz of Wooster and Andrew (Cheryl) Kleinhenz of Middlefield; daughters, Nancy Rutledge of Copley, Amy (William) Vohsing of Granville and Marcia Kleinhenz of Cincinnati; brothers, Robert Kleinhenz of Celina and James (Shirlee) Kleinhenz of St. Marys; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were scheduled for Aug. 6 and 7 in St. Marys at Cisco Funeral Home and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Holy Rosary Church, 511 E. Spring St. in St. Marys. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
