Eight Vintage Base Ball clubs came to Akron's Stan Hywet Hall for the annual Akron Cup July 18. The all-day event featured the eight "club nines," which play base ball (historically correct spelling) as it would have been played in the 1880s. This includes following rules such as no bunting or sliding. Players also don't use helmets, gloves or catcher's masks.
