Arsena, Stearns wed in June ceremony

Karla Marisa Arsena and Brian Scott Stearns were united in marriage on June 12, 2010, at St. Paul's Shrine in Cleveland.

The bride is the daughter of John and Michele Arsena of Hudson, and the bridegroom is the son of Frank and Judith Stearns of Purcellville, Va.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an Amsale silk taffeta gown with an Alençon lace bust, spaghetti straps and a rouched natural waist. The bride's dress was completed with custom made pearl and precious gemstone earrings and a pair of pale yellow and navy blue paisley shoes from J Crew.

Krista Latore of Chagrin Falls, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Becky Arsena of Cleveland, sister-in-law of the bride; Erin Brody, Jennifer Filipkowski and Gina Forst of Chicago, college roommates of the bride; and Amy Palcic of Los Angeles, friend of the bride. Nieces of the bride, Ava, Ella and Ingrid Latore all of Chagrin Falls were flower girls.

Frank Stearns of Washington, D.C., and Joe Stearns of Purcellville, Va., brothers of the bridegroom, served as best men. John Arsena of Cleveland and Nick Arsena of Hudson, brothers of the bride, and Brent Carothers of Durham and Brett Ramos of Los Angeles, high school friends of the bridegroom, served as groomsmen.

Chad Braley, of Herndon, Va., friend of the bridegroom, Keith Latore of Chagrin Falls, brother-in-law of the bride, and Justin Manly and Bobby Wehmeyer of Chicago, friends of the bridegroom, all served as ushers.

And evening reception took place at the Ballroom at the Ritz Carlton Cleveland.

The bride graduated from Hudson High School in 1997 and The University of Dayton in 2001 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication. She is an account manager for The Marketing Arm, a marketing agency in Chicago.

The bridegroom graduated from Loudoun Valley High School in 1998 and from Washington & Lee University in 2002 with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. He received his master of business administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2007. He is employed in management consulting with the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Greece.
