Hudson - The name of the company coming to Hudson Crossing Business Park is no longer a secret.
Meyer Distributing Co. in Twinsburg plans to move its headquarters to a new building at the business park off state Route 303 opposite Terex Road, Hudson Economic Development Director Chuck Wiedie announced July 27.
Steve McLaughlin, COO and president of Meyer Distributing Co., will bring 120 employees to Hudson at a new $5 million headquarters and distribution facility. Hudson City Council and the Hudson Board of Education have already approved tax abatement for the company.
It will be the first business in Hudson Crossing, which was created more than four years ago, with construction beginning this fall and occupation scheduled for early 2011, according to Wiedie.
