KELLY LYNN RADER Hudson High School graduate Kelly Rader, 33, of New York City died June 20, 2010 at NYU Langone Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 18, 1977 in Flint, Michigan to Sally Selcke and Thomas Rader. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1995 where she was active in soccer and gymnastics. She continued her education at Villanova University, graduating Cum Laude in 1999. On July 7, 2006 she earned her MBA from Ecole Nationale des ponps et chausses. While living in New York City, she worked for Bloomberg, Pivot Solutions, Inc. and First Rain. Kelly was an accomplished gymnast, diver, soccer player, and student and had a prestigious career working in the financial markets. She was an avid reader, a natural storyteller, a world traveler and had a smile that could light up any room. Survivors include her father, Thomas Rader, mother and stepfather, Sally and Scott Selcke, brother Christopher Rader, sister Erin Rader, stepsisters Lauren Selcke and Leslie Rife, grandmothers Loraine Chase and Barbara Hartnett, aunt Barbara Lynn Spencer, uncles Steven and Robert Chase, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Francis Chase and Karl Rader. Memorial services were June 26 at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, New York City with the Rev. Elizabeth Ott officiating and at Bethany United Church of Christ, Randolph, Va. with the Rev, Kathy Eddy officiating. Contributions may be made to Multiple Sclerosis at kellyradermemorial.com.
