Education series
begins March 19

The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off an Executive Education Series will four classes starting in March and ending in November. These classes are targeting business owners, CEOs and C-level management.

Session I -- "Finance, Accounting & Tax Implications Your Business Can't Afford to Miss" -- is March 19 at the Barlow Community Center Memorial Room. Sessions will be in a round-table format, and participants will meet with each of four experts for 30 minutes, with time for questions. cheifs

The experts for this session include CPA Steve Chiarappa of Chiarappa & Associates Ltd. He will address employee theft and steps a business can take to eliminate risk.

Liz Kuonen, Market Manager and vice president of business banking in the treasury management division of National City Bank, will discuss fraud prevention.

Session II on June 4 will focus on marketing and public relations. Session III on Sept. 3 will address developing and incentivizing your sales team. Session IV on Nov. 19 will feature training and employee retention.
