Tournaments scheduled
The Solon Cage Classic is scheduled to take place April 5 through 11.
The Lakewood Cage Classic is set to take place April 23-25 and the Ginn Foundation Cage Classic is scheduled for May 14-16.
All of those tournaments are now accepting entries.

Last year’s Solon tournament attracted teams from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, New York, Michigan, Indiana and Canada.
Hoops offered
The Varsity Athletic Club is scheduled to host its “Spring Shootout” basketball tournament March 27 and 28 in Wooster. Four shootout-style games are $100 per team. The tournament for girls in grades 5 through 12 is set for March 27.
The tournament for boys in grades 4-12 is scheduled for March 28.

A 5K race is scheduled to take place March 27 at Ehmfelt Recreation and Senior Center in Strongsville and Independence Civic Center,
