Program looks at emotions of job search
"The Emotional Side of Job Loss: What it Takes to Ride the Rollercoaster" is the topic for the March 15 Hudson Job Search meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Church Episcopal, 21 Aurora St. Sign-in starts at 7:15 p.m.
Millicent Simmelink will present the program, offering strategies and resources for developing understanding, courage, coping and resilience.
"The emotions associated with job loss mirror the highs and lows of a roller coaster," Simmelink said.
Simmelink specializes in career planning, change management, workplace issues and strategic search as founding Principal of Career Links Counseling and as a Career Coach for CareerCurve LLC.
