Teen bands sought
to play at event
The Ice Cream Social sponsored by the Hudson League for Service is inviting teen music performers to submit a request to play at the event on June 18. Individuals or groups are welcome to apply by April 15 to be considered. Hudson teens will be given priority for selection.
Those interested in performing should submit personal information and a sample CD, video or tape to the Hudson League for Service, Box 203, Hudson, OH 44236. More information is at the Hudson League for Service Web site at www.

Thousands have attended the Ice Cream Social since it began in 1948. In addition to a variety of entertainment, there will be refreshments and games for all ages.
Interested volunteers may call 330-655-7658 to help at this Hudson tradition.
Local groups
can apply for funds
The Hudson League for Service is accepting applications for funds to be given to Hudson organizations.

The deadline for applications is March 26. Recipients will be notified by the end of April.
