Softball offered
The registration deadline for Hudson Girls Softball recreational slow-pitch leagues is March 27.
Slow-pitch programs are for girls in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The season begins right after the last day of school and runs through mid-July.
Registration forms are available at www.hgsa.org and at the Hudson Community Education and Recreation offices.

Play hoops
Open gym for lunch time basketball is scheduled to take place every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pinnacle Sports, which is located at 9550 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg.
The cost is $3 per person. For details, call 330-487-0452.
