Support groups
offered for children
Joel's Place for Children offers grief support groups for children ages 5 to 18 who have experienced the death of someone special in their lives.
The support groups meet in Highland Heights and Bay Village, and are coordinated by a certified bereavement facilitator.
Sessions involve participation in arts and crafts, games, age-appropriate discussions, and other activities designed to help children express their feelings in a safe and supportive atmosphere with other children who have experienced a loss.
Joel's Place for Children services are free.
