Merchants meet

The Merchants of Hudson will have their quarterly membership meeting at Deli on Rye in Acme Plaza March 3 at 7:30 a.m. There will be a summary of last year's events and successes, and a preview of what is to come in 2010.

All are welcome to attend to learn more about the group. Coffee and breakfast snacks will be served.

Learn about airport, 'Lean Communities'

The Hudson Economic Development Corp. will host an event March 5 at the Country Club of Hudson featuring presentations on the Akron-Canton Airport and A Nonprofit Commitment: Lean Communities LLC.

Coffee and networking starts at 7:30 a.m. Akron-Canton Airport Senior Vice President and Marketing and Communications Officer Kristie Van Auken will speak at 7:45. A Nonprofit Commitment: Lean Communities LLC Executive Director and Founder Eric Knauf will speak at 8:30.
