The Coalition for Children's Mental Health and Young Actors Studio are offering an opportunity for middle school youth with autism or Asperger's Syndrome to enrich their lives through theater.

Beginning March 16, participants who have social cognition deficits due to their disorders will spend time learning social skill development through role play and short acting vignettes. The workshop will be taught by psychiatrist Dr. Patricia Goetz and theater director Elyse Romano.

The 10-week workshop will meet from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays March 16 to May 25 at the Young Actors Studio, 72 N. Main St., Suite 5, in Hudson.

In-person registration will be offered March 6 from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information or to register, call 330-653-8525 or visit www.youngactorsstudio.net.
