Summa acquires urgent care center

Summa Western Reserve Hospital will assume ownership and management of the former MEDGroup Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine facility, 3913 Darrow Road in Stow, effective March 1. James Martin will continue his role as medical director.

"This is an exciting development for our hospital and something the Summa Western Reserve Hospital physicians have been anticipating in moving forward with our continuum of care strategy," said Robert A. Kent Jr., Summa Western Reserve Hospital CEO.

Summa Western Reserve Hospital Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine will continue to provide urgent medical treatment for non-life threatening medical concerns, and occupational medicine services. Laboratory and x-ray services are available on site.

Walk-ins are welcome, or patients may call 330-688-7900 to make an appointment.
