Thief steals credit cards, MP3 player through open window

Hudson -- A Hudson woman told police Feb. 12 that someone broke into her locked car, which had "a window down," sometime between 8 and 11 p.m.

The car was parked at a home on Maplewood Lane. The woman told police one Visa debit card, a Visa credit card and an MP3 player were missing. The MP3 player's estimated value was about $300. There were no witnesses nor suspects and the case is closed.

OVI / left of center

Feb. 19. Left of center leads to OVI arrest: A 42-year-old Mantua woman was pulled over at state Route 303 and Heather Lane around 1:15 a.m. for allegedly going left of center while driving her 2003 KIA Sedona. Police also said the woman appeared to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and charged with OVI and driving left of center. After being taken to the police station, the woman refused to take a breathalyzer test and she was released on a personal recognizance bond.

Expired plate and
no driver's license

Feb. 10. Driver alleges to be without proper plates or license: A 52-year-old Hudson man was pulled over by police around 9:15 p.m. at East Streetsboro Street and North Hayden Parkway for allegedly having expired license plates on his 1999 Pontiac Grand Am. Police also discovered the man didn't have a driver's license. He was arrested and later released on bond.

Disorderly conduct

Feb. 23. Two charged with too much noise: Police were called to a home on Rachel's Way shortly before 12:30 a.m. by an anonymous caller reporting "too much noise." Police cited two Hudson men, ages 20 and 19, with disturbing the peace and prohibitions, which according to police is underage drinking.
