Gill, Egge united in marriage

Mairin Gill and Kyle Egge were united in marriage Aug. 28, 2009, in St. Patrick Church in Cleveland with the Rev. Mark A. DiNardo officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Denis and Alice Gill of Richfield, formerly of Hudson.

The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Tina Egge of Fredericksburg, Va.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero a-line gown in champagne gold satin featuring asymmetrical ruching through the bodice with a plunging v-neckline. It had an open back with lace-up closure and a detachable cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangea, green dendrobiums, blue delphiniums, green cymbidiums and leonidas roses.

Sister of the bride, Kyla Gill Ludwig of Roanoke, Va., was the matron of honor. Tara Gill, sister of the bride from Chicago, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Amber Kerek of Columbus and Melissa Wadlinger of York, Pa. The flower girl was friend of the bride, Alexanda Perrucci of Bethlehem, Pa.

Steve Egge, father of the bridegroom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Devin Gill of Merrimack, N.H., brother of the bride; Anthony Petruzzo of Clifton, Va., and Dustin Van Loenen of Gilbert, Ariz., friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were friends of the bridegroom, Ryan Sullivan of Arden, N.C., and John Flood of Chicago. Jack Perrucci of Bethlehem, Pa., friend of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Special guests included the godparents of the bridegroom, Mathilde Egge of Brookfield, Wis., and Michael From of Bothell, Wash. Family and friends attended from 13 states.

The evening reception was at Windows on the River in the City View Room.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Hudson High School and a 2007 graduate of Miami University. She is employed by Pennsylvania Counseling Services in Harrisburg, Pa.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Chancellor High School and a 2007 graduate of Miami University. He is a finance director at Ciocca Honda of Harrisburg, Pa.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas. They are making their home in Harrisburg.
