David and Joyce McClelland of Hudson announce the engagement of their daughter, Marcia M. McClelland, to Dr. Joseph G. Landry II, the son of Gerry Landry of Charlotte, N.C., and Marilyn Landry of Hartville.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Hudson High School and 2000 graduate of Kent State University where she earned an associate degree. She is attending Stark State College of Technology with studies in the dental hygiene program. She is employed as an underwriter at Allstate Insurance Co. in Hudson.
Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Providence Senior High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He graduated in 2009 from The Ohio State University as a doctor of dental surgery. He is employed as a dentist with Dr. James Lipaj and Assoc. Inc. in Doylestown.
The couple plans to wed in June in the New Apostolic Church in Stow.
