Meghan Dee Rafferty and Adam Samuel Erbaugh were united in marriage Oct. 3, 2009, at St. Mary Church. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Betters. The bride is the daughter of Ed and Diane Rafferty of Hudson. The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Sharon Erbaugh of Mentor. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero taffeta gown featuring a sweetheart neckline with side ruching, corset back and draped overlay train. She carried an all red bouquet of dahlias and roses. Lauren Rafferty of Chicago, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Valerie Houseknecht of Beavercreek, sister of the groom, and friends of the bride, Allison Greene of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jane Bankhurst of Smithville, N.J., Karen Sabados of Bloomingdale, Ill., Kris Kunz of Madison, Wis., and Sarah Phillips of Cincinnati. Dave Toombs of Cincinnati, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin Houseknecht of Beavercreek, the groom's brother-in-law, and friends of the groom, John Koster of Bay Village, Eric Buck of Dublin, Ohio, Chris Thomas of Chicago, Brandon Prosansky of Chicago, and Kevin Kalish of Cincinnati. Anna and Nathan Houseknecht, niece and nephew of the groom, were the flower girl and ring bearer. The reception took place at Lake Forest Country Club. The bride is a graduate of Hudson High School and Miami University. She works for U.S. Bank Private Client Group Investments in Cincinnati where she is a vice president and managing director. The groom is a graduate of Mentor High School and Miami University. He earned his master's degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati and is employed as an architect at Tilsley & Associates in Cincinnati. The couple honeymooned in Maui, and now reside in the Village of Mariemont in Cincinnati. Comments
