Everyone is invited to bring a canned, boxed or durable food item to LifeCenter Plus Health and Fitness Center, 5133 Darrow Road, Feb. 22 through 27 for a "Pack the Pools with Food" event to benefit OPEN M, a nondenominational community outreach organization, which serves needy families throughout Summit County. Donors are asked to bring in canned, bagged or boxed non-perishable food items that will be placed into a series of children's wading pools, throughout the LCP facility. "Pack the Pools" will finish at noon Feb. 27 with a pick-up by the OPEN M vans.
As a thank you to all those who donate, LifeCenter Plus will provide them with a free week pass to enjoy all the programs and facilities of the 103,000-square-foot, multi-purpose fitness center.
