Hudson -- A 21-year-old Hudson man was arrested by police Feb. 7 and charged with driving under suspension, possessing of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs.
According to police, the man was stopped shortly before 2 a.m. for driving under a suspended license. As the officer was preparing the car for towing, he reportedly found a "multi-color glass pipe" on the driver's seat.
The officer also alleged that, while searching the man, he found a plastic bag of suspected marijuana "tucked in" the man's pants. The suspect was taken to the Hudson Police station, charged and released on a $500 bond.
Domestic violence
Feb. 8. Woman arrested after alleged fight: A 42-year-old Hudson woman was arrested and charged with domestic violence after her 41-year-old husband alleged she hit him. The woman was transported to the Summit County Jail.
Theft
Feb. 4. Credit card used without permission: A 20-year-old Hudson woman told police that between Feb. 2 and 4, "unknown persons" used her credit card to charge $330 in goods. Police are investigating.
Identity theft
Jan. 25. Money taken from checking account: A 34-year-old Hudson man told police that $1,097 had been taken from his checking account. Police are investigating.
