How long have you lived or worked in Hudson? I have lived in Hudson for 43 years and am a 1972 graduate of Hudson High School. I have practiced dentistry in my hometown of Hudson for the past 28 years.
What is your favorite thing to do in Hudson? Play golf at the Country Club of Hudson, especially with my son.
How would you describe Hudson to someone who has never been here? It is a wonderful place to live. It has the charm of a small town without being far from the amenities of a big city.
What would you do if you were city manager for a day? I would probably just be thankful I was city manager for ONLY one day.
What do you like to do in your free time? Besides golf, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar. I play and sing in our Praise Band at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Are you a member of any clubs or organizations? I belong to several dental organizations -- Akron Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Cleveland Academy of Advanced Dental Education.
What is your favorite movie or television show? My favorite movie of all-time is "Rocky."
What is the last book you read? "Lion in the White House: A Life of Theodore Roosevelt."
What is your favorite vacation spot? It's a tie: Kiawah Island, S.C., and Scottsdale, Ariz.
Whom do you admire most, excluding relatives? Bob Hope. He did it all: a stage, film and television star, an accomplished golfer who hosted his own professional golf tournament, a philanthropist and a humanitarian. His tours for more than 50 years were the epitome of selfless service to others. I was fortunate to see him myself once while I was serving in the U.S. Navy.
