Zee Moscarillo, 83, of Stow died on Jan. 3, 2010. Born in Medina, she was a lifetime area resident. She retired from Summit County after 30 years of service as executive secretary to the environmental engineers and had previously served as executive secretary to County Commissioner Ted Cole and William Zekan of the A. Schulman Co. For 40 years she served as a presiding judge over Democratic party elections and recently served as regent for the David Hudson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. During World War II she was an air raid warden and had been active with the USO. She loved to sing and was member of St. Sebastian's choir and a member of the Red Hat Ladies of Silver Lake Towers, visiting area nursing and retirement homes. Preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert, in 2001, she is survived by her children, Donna (Gil) Kelley of San Diego, Roxanne (Ranndy) Kellogg of McHenry, Ill., Marc (Jeanne) Moscarillo of Hudson, Mary (Gene) Kallmeyer of Stow; grandchildren, Erica, Chris and Nick Kellogg, Alison, Morgan and Carmen Moscarillo, and Dan Altieri, Tucker and Josh Kallmeyer; sisters, Joyce Zapola of Brook Park and Sandy (Jim) Blataric of Santa Ana, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation and funeral service were at Redmon Funeral Home. Entombment was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
