Still perfect. The Hudson girls bowling team improved to 5-0 overall and 5-0 against Northeast Ohio Conference opponents with a convincing 2,184-1,804 victory over Solon at Roseland Lanes in Bedford. Samantha Kachele had the high game with a 205. She added a 202 for a 407 series. Libby Wasserbauer contributed a 204 and also bowled a 158. Other bowlers included Mindy Meredith (181-189), Natalie Briganti (176-153), Jessica Bailey (184) and Kayla Meehan (149). The boys (1-4, 1-4) lost a close 2,497-2,465 decision to Solon. Sean Crowe led the way with a 242. He also rolled a 176 for a 418 series. Adam Marshall had the second highest series with scores of 202 and 194, respectively. Also competing for Hudson were Brad Riedel (204-169), Mike Tereletsky (165-170) and Tommy Fitzgerald (185-148). The junior varsity team lost a 1,760-1,696 decision. Rocco Vernia led the way with scores of 190 and 147, respectively, and Mike Rybak was next (149-171). Also rolling for Hudson were John Germano (139), Matt Rybak (130), Tyler Zickel (122), Justin Ruffing (101), Brad Bohrer (94) and Greg Gadula (82). All three team were scheduled to visit NOC rivals Twinsburg and Brunswick Dec. 21 at Roseland Lanes. Results were not available at press time.
