Taste of Hudson has announced this year's line-up of restaurants for the annual two-day festival that overtakes downtown Hudson on Labor Day weekend. Restaurants are represented from Hudson and surrounding areas and include many styles of dining, from elegant to casual. While admission to Taste of Hudson is free, "tastes" may be purchased utilizing dining cards sold at the event, or through advance purchase at Acme Fresh Market in Hudson or www.tasteofhudson.com. Costs for taste range from $2 to $6, and pre-loaded $20 and $40 dining cards are available. The restaurant line-up includes: * Russo's * Bay Lobsters Fish Market * Vue Restaurant and Lounge * Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern * Zeppe's Pizzaria and Restaurant * Marcelita's Mexican Restaurant * Old Whedon Grille * Donato's Pizza * pizzaBOGO * Hudson's Restaurant on the Green * Otani Japanese Restaurant * 3 Foodies Catering * Deli on Rye * Rotary Club of Hudson Clocktower Ice Cream * Luchita's Mexican Restaurant * Piatto Novo * Hattie's Café * Bitter, Bones & Barley * Chipolte Taste of Laurel Lake, located in the Wine & Beer Tasting Garden, produced by The Cleveland Wine School. "This year's restaurant lineup is very exciting," said Taste of Hudson Executive Director Andy Malitz. "We're thrilled to welcome several new restaurants as well as many perennial favorites. This selection of excellent restaurants has made Hudson one of the region's culinary focal points. A number of these restaurants have been recognized nationally and we are excited that they continue to be a big part of Taste of Hudson." Taste of Hudson is co-presented by Akron Children's Hospital, Summa Health System and Acme Fresh Market Stores. More than 25,000 people annually attend Taste of Hudson, this year scheduled for Sept. 6 from noon to 8 p.m. and Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Taste of Hudson is a Rotary Club of Hudson Clocktower event. It is produced by volunteers within the community in order to promote Hudson area restaurants, businesses, artists and entertainers, and to provide funding for several charities, including the Safe Kids Coalition of Summit County.
