Josephine C. "Chris" Skwarczewski (nee Sakowski) of Hudson died June 26, 2009, at Summa Health Systems Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Donald "Kelly" Skwarczewski; three children, Cheryl (Mike) Brenon, Judy Held and Kenneth Paul (Lynne) Michaels; two dear grandchildren, Paul and Kevin Brenon; and sister, Clara Seklecki. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Frank Sakowski.
Mrs. Skwarczewski was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The ALS Association Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road Suite 250, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. July 1 at St. Mary Church, 340 N. Main Street in Hudson. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Johnson-Romito Funeral Home handled arrangements.
