Marie A. (nee DePaul) Thomas, 82, formerly of Hudson and Boardman, died June 25, 2009, at Stow-Glen Health Care Center in Stow.
She was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Dominic DePaul and Rose Zambino DePaul.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Louis, in 2008, and brothers Peter LaPolla, Nick and James DePaul.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (John) Niemczura of Hudson; sister, Eleanor Depaul of Youngstown; brothers, Joseph (Tippi) DePaul of Youngstown and Donald DePaul of Youngstown; and grandchildren, Colin Thomas Niemczura and Clay Christian Niemczura.
Arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home. A memorial gathering will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
