Leona S. Miller (nee Lord), 96, of Hudson died June 2, 2009, at Crown Center at Laurel Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcom, and parents, Florence M. (nee Ziehm) Lord and Albert E. Lord.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Hill of New York City; brother, Elmer Lord of Hudson; sister-in-law, Nancy Goodwin Lord; nieces and nephew, Dana Renee Lazott of Estacada, Ore., Robin Lord Laplante of Cape Cod, Mass., Scott A. Lord of Port Washington, Wis., and Wendy Ann Geaney of Hudson.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Road, Peninsula, 44264.
Arrangements by handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home. Burial of cremains was at Lake View Cemetery.
