Henry Strickland Wurst, 58, of Hudson died May 4, 2009. Born in Atlanta, he moved to the area while in high school. He graduated from Woodridge High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Akron University and a master's degree in finance from Kent State University. He spent his initial professional years in Cleveland working as a securities analyst for local firms including National City and McDonald & Co. While working in Cleveland, he obtained his Certified Financial Analyst credential. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, and as an active sports participant with great love for animals and appreciation of nature. Preceded in death by his father, Fred Wurst Sr., he is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Wurst; brother and sister-in-law, Fred Wurst Jr. and Nancy Wurst; and niece ,Ashley Wurst of Alpharetta, Ga. The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home in Cuyahoga Falls handled arrangements. Services have taken place. Interment was at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Comments
