Niam fares well at Wofford College Hudson graduate Mike Niam, a freshman inside linebacker on the Wofford (S.C.) College football team, was fourth on the team with 47 tackles after nine games. Niam had 29 solo tackles, three pass breakups, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery this season. Teams needed The Hudson Community Education and Recreation Men's 30 and Over Fast Break League features an eight- or 12-team league playing at Hudson High School, plus a single-elimination tournament to determine the league champion. Teams are needed now to fill out the league. Visit www.hudson.edu/hcer or call the Hudson Community Education and Recreation office at 330-653-1210 to register. Each team will be permitted two players who are younger than 30. Swim in Kent The 2008 alumni swim meet is set to take place Nov. 28 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Kent Roosevelt High School.
