The Hudson City School District invites people to preview the mathematics textbooks being reviewed by the high school mathematics teachers for textbook recommendations. The preview nights are from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 19 at the high school media center, and Nov. 20 in room A-116 at the high school.
Books and supporting materials will be available for preview. Parents and community member will be able to record comments about the textbooks.
These comments will be given to the teachers as input.
The recommendation for the high school mathematics textbooks adoption will be given to the Board of Education by the superintendent for its regularly scheduled meeting on Dec. 8. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the high school media center. This recommendation does not include AP math text books.
The Board of Education will make its final decision about the adoption of high school mathematics program text books in January.
