The Greenhouse will deliver a bouquet to Margi Lewis, who was nominated for a floral salute by Beth Hilling with the following letter:
"I would like to send Margi Lewis a floral salute. Her generosity and spirit reach the sky. Margi is always willing to take care of friends and family, even if it is to prepare a prayer blanket for a loved one.
"Margi's caring even goes as far as to extend a helping hand to cats and dogs owners of Hudson. I often pass her in the early morning hours as I leave for work as she says, 'Oh, I just came back from Fido's house. I had to let him out and give him his medicine.'
"Barely reaching 5-feet tall, her youthful heart is amazing. I feel we can all learn something from her giving spirit. This is a good lesson for us all. Never stop caring, even at 87 years young."
Anyone wishing to nominate a Hudsonite (or someone who works in Hudson) for a floral salute should write a letter of nomination to the Hudson Hub-Times. We request the salute be limited to one person, couple or household. Include the name, address and phone number of the nominee and a brief reason why the person should be honored. Also include the name and telephone number of the nominator for verification purposes. The letter may sent to Hudson Hub-Times, 1619 Commerce Drive, Stow 44224.
