provided by the Hudson Recycling Committee

Four trash haulers regularly pick up trash in Hudson, and each collects recyclable material.

A and A Sanitation collects glass, cans, 1 and 2 plastic, newspaper, magazines, cardboard, and catalogues. Call 330-650-4105 for more information and pricing.

Allied Waste recycles glass, cans, 1 and 2 plastic, cardboard, newspapers, catalogues and phone books. Call 1-800-968-7789 for more information and pricing.

Republican Waste collects glass, cans, 1 and 2 plastic, cardboard, newspapers and magazines. Call 330-830-9050 for more information and pricing.

Waste Management collects glass, cans, 1-7 plastic, cardboard, newspapers, magazines, junk mail and office paper. Call 440-285-6770 for more information and pricing.

Each of them has multiple customers, and all four are in most neighborhoods five days a week.

Some neighborhoods have chosen to contract with one hauler for the neighborhood, attempting to reduce the truck traffic, minimize the days trash would be at the curbs, and lower the noise and air pollution. The haulers are willing to put together a group pricing package for neighborhoods if requested. One neighborhood of 27 homes and another of 360 homes have accomplished a reduction in fees by polling the residents, discussing methods of payment and talking with the haulers.
