Letter: Calls Hudson sewer bill 'rather excessive'

I have well water and city sewage. My sewage bill is a "flat" one at about $130 or $140 every three months.

I find that the city of Cuyahoga Falls allows their customers under similar circumstances to install a water meter on their well and the sewer rate is determined based on the consumption of water.

A friend of mine living in Cuyahoga Falls, who installed a meter on his well, pays between $15 and $20 per month, far less than the "flat" amount that Hudson residents are being charged. I find that our sewage bill is rather excessive for a household of two. I wonder if the city of Hudson would consider allowing residents with a well to install meters so the sewage charges will be more equitable.
