HUDSON - Two Chamberlin Boulevard residents filed an appeal July 7 in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas against the city to keep a cul-de-sac from becoming a through street.
R. Tim Graham and Randall Bisbee are appealing a decision by Hudson's planning commission and City Council to extend Chamberlin Boulevard, which connects to Stow Road and ends in a cul-de-sac after a quarter of a mile, through the proposed Middleton Park Manor subdivision to Middleton Road.
Three residents appealed the planning commission's decision to Council May 21 based on increased traffic and safety issues, but Council members unanimously upheld the planning commission's decision and voted to extend the street.
The residents have taken the appeal to the county court to try to overturn the city's decision.
