Yoga Lounge hosts grand opening

Yoga Lounge in First & Main will host a grand opening celebration July 11 from 6 to 9 p.m.

An official ribbon cutting will take place at 6 p.m. followed by live music, food and drinks. The studio will open for classes July 7. Yoga Lounge is offering Kids' Yoga Series that includes classes for children ages 5 to 13.

Horse behavior classes offered for kids

Janet Barlow will offer youth equestrian experiences at her Barlow Road farm on Barlow Road in Hudson in July.

Children will learn about horse behavior and horse care. Each participant will receive a hands-on opportunity with a horse.

The day concludes with a question and answer period and lunch. Session 1 is July 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Session 2 is July 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Go wacky for Webkinz on Wednesdays

Nicky Nicole,, 99 First St., will host Wacky Webkinz Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities, games and prizes will be free. There also will be savings opportunities and discounts available.

Themes include: July 9 -- Webkinz Ward is Back; July 16 -- Go Green; July 23 -- Birthday Trivia Day; July 30 -- Webkinz Fashion Show Event; Aug. 6 -- Harry Potter Birthday Celebration; Aug. 13 -- Miss Match Day; and Aug. 20 -- Crazy Hat Day.

Children are encouraged to dress accordingly to the theme.
