WRA girls compete at Cuyahoga Relays

The Western Reserve Academy girls track and field team competed at the Cuyahoga Heights Relays May 3.

Several events were not completed due to inclement weather and the meet was not scored.

Reserve athletes placed in the following events:

Shot put: Aminah Daniels (27 feet, 3.5 inches), Sarah Haile (23-8) and Natalie Boerio (25-0), fifth, 75-11.5

Long jump: Kathleen McCallops (13-10.5), Hannah Barry (13-6) and Micah Sibley-Collins (11-8), second, 39-.5

Discus: Daniels (71-5), Haile (73-8) and Marguerite Conners (84-5), fourth, 229-6

6,400 meters: Sheila Seetharaman (6 minutes, 10.6 seconds), Victoria DiBiase (6:14), Ceara O'Sullivan (5;42.6) and Maria Innamorato (5:43.5), first, 23:51.7

400: Sarah Fallon (13.7), Mary Carter (14.2), Kathleen McCallops (13.6) and Brittany Dukov (12.4), first, 54.0

3,200: Kelsey McCallops (2:33.9), Brittany Droogh (2:35.3), O'Sullivan (2:34.3) and Anne Song (2:38), first, 10:21.5

Reserve is scheduled to conclude the season at the Independent School League Championships May 13 at Laurel High School in Shaker Heights. The action is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
