"Whenever we get a trophy at an invitational, the coaches choose one athlete who had a great performance to give the trophy to at the end of the year [we keep it in the locker room during the season]," said Hudson head coach Corrine Gannon. "This meet, we gave it to Catherine White.

"Jade Black also had a great day," she added. "Lexi Henn's vault was her personal best since the summer. It was great for Lexi to vault so well in the rain. Lindley Hill went out strong in the 800 and stayed with the leaders to run a good race."

Hudson is scheduled to visit Northeast Ohio Conference Valley Division rival Strongsville May 7 at 4:30 p.m.

They are set to compete at the Jackson Invitational May 9 at 4:30 p.m.
