Students to display artwork

Gretchen Bierbaum's painting students will have their exhibit at Laurel Lake Retirement Community in May.

The opening reception is May 4 from 1 to 3 p.m., where the artists will be in attendance. The show will continue through June 2, and the gallery is open daily to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Bierbaum's paintings also will be included in this exhibit.

Bierbaum's students range in age from 8 to 80 in weekly classes through Hudson Community Education. The classes continue all year on Monday mornings. For more information, call 330-653-1210.

Bierbaum also teaches collage workshops at the Cuyahoga Valley Art Center and the Peninsula Art Academy.
