Robert and Janet Benedict of Cuyahoga Falls celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary April 3.
Robert and the former Janet Swearingen spoke their vows in Cleveland in 1948.
They have resided in Cuyahoga Falls for more than 45 years.
The couple has three children, Bill (Charlene), Patty (Jim), and Sue (Eric); two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Benedict is retired from Terex in Hudson.
Mrs. Benedict volunteered for Mobile Meals and was very active in the couple's church, First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
The Benedicts marked the marital milestone with a family dinner.
