Mary Caroline Kelling (nee Green), 92, a Hudson resident for more than 53 years, died April 10, 2008. She was born in Cambridge and grew up in Portsmouth, where she graduated from Portsmouth High School. She graduated from Sullins College. She was active in the Hudson Woman's Club, First Congregational Church, Questers, and Blossom Women's Committee. Mrs. Kelling was preceded in death by her husband of more than 66 years, Gilbert V. Kelling; her parents, Dr. Herbert A. and Mabel Green; and brother, Herbert A. Green Jr. She is survived by her sister, Martha G. Vigor; sons, Gilbert V. Jr., David H. (Katrina) and Dr. James S. (Carmen) Kelling; grandchildren, Lauren, Bruce, Kristin, David, Daniel and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Jack, Rowan and Henry. Memorial contributions may be made to Hudson EMS or the First Congregational Church of Hudson at 47 Aurora St. A service took place April 14. Arrangements were by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home.
