Elizabeth Vizmeg, 87, of Stow died April 5, 2008. She was born July 29, 1920, in Nikinci, Srem in Yugoslavia. She came to America in 1981 to join her family in Stow. A member of the Apostolic Christian Church in West Akron, she will be remembered for her great hospitality, her giving heart and her faith. Mrs. Vizmeg was preceded in death by her husband, Dura Vizmeg. She is survived by sons, Mike (Anna) of Hudson, George (Susan) of Stow, Joseph (Kathy) of Stow and Sandor "Alex" (Bistra) of Hudson; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Maria Makra of Irig, Yugoslavia; and many nieces and nephews in Hungary, Yugoslavia, Germany and Australia. Calling hours were at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel, where funeral services took place. Interment was at Stow Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity. Comments
