Rachel Santangelo and Eric Peterson were united in marriage Aug. 25 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Solon. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Richard Burcell. The bride is the daughter of Rick and Maria Santangelo of Solon. The bridegroom is the son of Pat and Greg Peterson of Hudson. Escorted by her parents, the bride wore an Old World-inspired strapless gown, diamond white with Alencon lace, scallops along the bodice, hemline and train, all adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls. Andrea Navratil, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor and Colleen Hyland was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Danielle Violette, the bride's sister, Sarah Peterson, the groom's sister, and Beth Webb. Geoff Peterson, the bridegroom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Robinson, Trevor Leysock, Alex Oswiecinski and Ray Brubaker. The reception took place at the Twinsburg Hilton Garden Inn. The bride is a graduate of Solon High School and received her degree in business from Miami University. She is employed at Nestle USA in Solon. The bridegroom is a graduate of Hudson High School and received his degree in zoology from Miami University and his doctorate from the University of Cincinnati. He is employed at University Hospitals-Case as a doctor of internal medicine. The couple honeymooned at the Riviera Maya in Mexico, and now reside in Cleveland. Comments
