Seder service planned

The Messianic Passover Seder and Service will be April 19 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hudson Presbyterian Church, 201 W. Streetsboro St.

Tickets, available beginning in April, cost $10 per person, and seating is limited to 112. Dinner, consisting of roast lamb, potatoes, green beans and dessert will be served during the liturgy in the Fellowship Hall.

This service is recommended for children 10 years and olds. The event is open to the public. Call Sarah Norman at 330-650-1626 for tickets or more information.

Dwelling Place hosts marriage course

The Rev. Steve Hutchinson of Dwelling Place Family Church will facilitate an eight-week video teaching series titled "Making Marriage Work" beginning April 10 at 6 p.m. at the Hudson Knolls Conference Center, Suite 100, 56 Milford Road.

The videos feature instruction and drama by Jeff and Debby McElroy, who address such topics as expectations, communication, conflict resolution, finances, sex and intimacy, families of origin, personality differences, spiritual unity, and husband/wife roles.

Dwelling Place Family Church will host the Rev. Peter Kerlin and his Praise Team April 13 at 10 a.m. at Barlow Community Center, 41 S. Oviatt St. Kerlin, a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College, is youth pastor at Church on the Rise in Westlake.

Hymn sing to be April 6

The Evangelical Covenant Church of Hudson, 190 W. Streetsboro St., will host a hymn sing April 6 at 7 p.m.

The church will provide copies of "The Covenant Hymnal" to visitors. Song requests will be taken. Refreshments will follow.

Congregational church plans Bible school

First Congregational Church of Hudson will host a Vacation Bible School program June 23 to 27 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The theme will be "Holy Moses."

All children 3-years-old to those in fifth grade are welcome to attend. The Toddler 3s class will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the Vacation Bible School week.

Chapel hosts
kids' event

Hudson Community Chapel, 750 W. Streetsboro St., will host its second "Breakout" night for third- through fifth-graders April 11 from 7 to 10 p.m.

The night will include inflatables, Nerf Dart Mega Tag, crafts, DDR, RC Car Racing, a wacky hair and nail salon, professional line and hip hop dance instructors, a photo booth, karaoke, Nintendo, junk food, live worship and a talk from the Chapel's junior high pastor, Todd Iannetta.

Tickets are $10 at the door. However, those who register early at hudsonchapel.org can buy tickets for $7.

Parents can volunteer online when registering their kids. For information, call the church at 330-650-9533.

St. Mary Church plans Charismatic Mass

St. Mary Church in Hudson, 340 N. Main St., will host a Charismatic Mass April 25 at 7:30 p.m.

There will be healing prayers following the Mass.
