Robert E. Collins, 79, of Streetsboro died March 27, 2008.
Born in Cleveland, he was a 40-year resident of Orange Village, moving to Streetsboro in 2006. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Collins had served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, was a longtime member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Warrensville Heights and was an avid bowler.
Preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie, in 2006, he is survived by his daughters, Debora (Paul) Wides of Hudson and Diane (Carey Dent) Collins, Donna Collins; son, Douglas Collins; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew and Daniel Wides, and Amelia Collins-Dent; and brothers, Francis "Sonny" Collins and Richard (Judi) Collins.
Visitation was at Redmon Funeral Home. Burial was at All Saints Cemetery.
