Hudson -- Three Ellsworth Hill Drive residents and one Stoney Ledge Circle residents said items were removed from their unlocked vehicles parked in their driveways, sometime during the night March 14 and 15. According to the police report, items stolen included a $200 iPod, a $300 Global Positioning System, $40 in change and $25 in currency. An investigation is pending. Leaving the scene
March 15. Vehicle left in a ditch: A 28-year-old North Canton man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and operating a vehicle without reasonable control after he left his vehicle in a ditch, partially blocking Stone Road. According to the police report, the vehicle was found at 1:38 a.m. The vehicle was towed. Police located the registered owner of the vehicle through vehicle records. The man was cited and a court appearance was slated for Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court. Public intoxication March 16. Woman found in parking deck: An employee of a Village Way restaurant called police after an apparently intoxicated woman left the facility at 9:22 p.m. According to the police report, the 39-year-old Stow woman was found in a intoxicated state in a nearby parking deck. She was transported home by police. No charges were filed. Operating a vehicle
March 14. Uniontown man arrested: A 22-year-old Uniontown man was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content higher than the legal limit and failure to control his vehicle. According to the police report, the man was found in his vehicle, which was stuck in gravel at the shoulder of Route 91 at 9:42 p.m. Police reports indicate the man failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Hudson Police Department where he was later released on a personal recognizance bond. According to police, his BAC was .218. The legal limit is .08. His vehicle was towed. Criminal damaging March 15. Four lawns damaged: Four residents on Red Fox Trail, Huntington Road and Pioneer Trail said their lawns were damaged sometime during the night by a vehicle driving over them. Each resident reported $200 in damages. Disturbing the peace March 17. Loud music brings police: An Ogilby Drive resident complained her neighbor's music was so loud it was shaking her windows at 11:30 a.m. According to the police report, the neighbor was located and advised to turn the music down, which he did. No charges were filed. Domestic violence March 14. Woman reports assault: A 52-year-old Akron woman said she was punched in the face by her 52-year-old husband at an establishment on West Streetsboro Street. According to the police report, the man was arrested and charged with domestic violence. He was taken to Summit County Jail. No medical attention was reported. Telephone harassment March 15. Woman reports phone harassment: A 48-year-old Hudson female said she was receiving harassing telephone calls from her ex-husband. She said she received seven calls in a short period of time. No charges were filed. Assault March 16. Macedonia man reports assault: A 22-year-old Macedonia man said he was assaulted at 1 a.m. at a party on Bard Drive.
