State senator
endorses candidate

District 27 State Sen. Kevin Coughlin has endorsed Hudson resident Richard Nero in the 42nd District House of Representatives race.

Nero is facing Cuyahoga Falls resident Dennis Robart Jr. in the Republican primary March 4.

Hudson City Council President Mike Moran is running unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Coughlin said Nero, 37, is "a candidate who will bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the legislature.

"He's a business leader with a strong grasp of the challenges facing Ohio, particularly access to affordable health care and to a quality efficient education," Coughlin said.
