Hudson Crossing Toastmasters (HCTM) will hold an Open House June 22, featuring prepared speeches from a new and experienced members, impromptu speaking, leadership in action, and much more.
The Open House from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. will be in room 10 of the Christ Community Center at 750 W Streetsboro Street in Hudson. Refreshments will be included. It is free and open to the public.
"This event offers a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in learning about communication and leadership skills development," club president Craig Gerlock said. "The open house is a great way to explore the welcoming and warm nature of our club while learning something new."
Special efforts will be made to show newer and polished speakers. See an efficiently run meeting with an option to observe or participate strictly as you wish. As a special bonus, meet with people that can relate to where you are while talking with others that have been through the journey.
This event will provide an excellent chance for anyone struggling with stage fright, writing a speech, or simply needing to remove filler words when public speaking. Potential Toastmasters can also explore the many opportunities to continue on a path that can help you get to the next level in your career or club.
