City Council members Beth Bigham, President Hal DeSaussure, Dennis Hanink, Alex Kelemen, Casey Weinstein and Dan Williams approved the following legislation at the May 23, 2017, regular Council meeting.
Council member William Wooldredge was absent.
*A motion to acknowledge the timely receipt of the April 2017 monthly financial report
*A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract with Security Microimaging Corp. (dba Kiriworks) to purchase OnBase enterprise content management software and associated professional services for $55,182.
*A resolution authorizing the city manager to advertise for competitive bids for estimated $695,000 project and to enter into a contract for the Manor Drive waterline and storm sewer improvement project; and declaring an emergency.
*A resolution authorizing the city manager to execute a change order to the contract with Golf Preservations, Inc. for the installation of drainage infrastructure at the Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club using $6,000 in savings for additional footage; and declaring an emergency.
*A resolution authorizing the city manager, or her designee, to accept $1,000 grant funding from the Hudson Garden Club.
*A resolution affirming the submission of an application by the city manager's designee to the Department of Homeland Security for a FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety 95/5 percent matching grant up to $51,000 for the Hudson fire department.
*A resolution to approve $13,500 to Ciuni & Panichi for financial statement preparation.
*A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a purchase agreement with Summit County Land Reutilization Corp. (the "Land Bank"), an Ohio nonprofit community improvement corporation, for the purchase of three vacant parcels of land for not more than $83,600 through its vacant land transfer program; and declaring an emergency.
